After the new Copyright Society of Botswana (COSBOTS) board members were voted in at the annual general meeting (AGM) two weeks ago, they have yet to choose a new board of directors.

The current board of directors includes Prince Monna as board chairperson Barolong Seboni as vice-chairperson while Kopano Mantswe is the treasurer. Monna took over the chairpersonship role when Solomon B Monyame resigned earlier this year and was supposed to hold fort until the new board members were voted in.  Mantswe on the other hand took over when Patrick Setsiba resigned in January 2017. Seboni took over the role from the former deputy board chairperson Nkgopolang Tlhomelang, who also stepped down after his term elapsed.

Recently added board members are Tomeletso Sereetsi, Game ‘Zeus’ Bantsi, Alfredo Mosimanegape, Mpho Nakedi, Trinity Mpho and Winani Kambutu.  Other members included two from associations and one member from a government department, who doesn’t have voting powers as a director.
