Thabo Katlholo (2016) UnAfrican, 365, Hardcopy, ISBN 978- 99968- 0- 465- 6 UnAfrican is a 34-chapter fictional crime thriller novel based in the tourism town of Kasane in the 90s era.

UnAfrican mainly focuses on a smart psychopath named Goldie, a serial killer dubbed as ‘The Butcher of Donga’ due to his killing techniques. This serial killer would slaughter people and leave them with pentagram symbols that he would have drawn using his knife.

While reading the book one quickly learns why certain criminals behave in a certain manner especially looking at how they were raised. A poor single mother in Donga, Francistown who passed away as a result of AIDS raised Goldie. He was racially abused in Kasane while working as a tour guide and this led to him attacking tourists.
