BOMU ends the year with spectacular awards night

It was a night to remember on Friday as the local musos ended the year in style with a spectacular award night. Everything went just right. A full house hall, fabulous looking musicians, top-notch performances by the nominees, world-class decor, and lots of cheers.

The event organisers even paid tribute to rapper Zeus for his recent achievement when he won the Channel O's music video award. Zeus was given the opportunity to thank fans and perform one or two songs.It was a night when Afro-jazz sensation Kearoma Rantao deservingly ended the year with three awards of best afro-jazz, best female and best-packaged album.

New Afro pop sensation Lizibo, nominated in seven categories, notched three gongs in Best male,  best Afro-pop  and best  newcomer on the evening on which he also put up a scintillating performance demonstrating his impressive vocal ranges.
