Bishop to preach internationally

Eyeing the international market. Hip hop artist Bishop Marumo signed a five year deal with Gallo Record company.

Rapper Bishop Marumo has achieved what few in the country are able to in music, setting a career milestone for him. The young artist – a talented graphic designer – recently signed a record deal with music giant Gallo Records to release and market his EP (extended play).

Marumo has secured a five-year contract that will see him sell his music internationally and build his profile as an artist. The EP will be used to market the full album that he will later release with the company.

“I am really excited and want to make this opportunity count for me and local music. This is the biggest thing I have achieved as a musician and this is all thanks to a team of professionals like my manager,” he told Showbiz.
