Bessie Head Awards return month-end

The Little Theatre at the National Museum will on month-end host the Bessie Head Literature Awards. The awards are an initiative to give local writers a platform to submit their work that ranges from novel, short story, children’s stories and poetry.

The awards have been running since 2007.  However, last year the awards were not held due to some technicalities but are making a return this year.

This year winners were judged in three categories that are novel, short story and children’s short story, which alternated with Poetry.
