Multitudes of meat lovers flocked the Lobatse recreational town park over the weekend for the 2nd annual Lobatse international beef festival.

In what is dubbed an event set to market Lobatse as one of the major players in the beef industry the festival was set to kick start at 1100hrs, but meat lovers only became visible at around 2:00 pm.

At the gate, patrons were handed meat with a packet of 500g steak and boer wors for braai. Different stalls of both private and public organisations were set up by saturday morning.
