It was a magical and breathtaking Saturday as many revellers were treated to a beautiful Setswana culture and splendid performances at the Son Of The Soil (SOTS) cultural event held at the Tashy's Garden.

The audience had the privilege to witness the rich Setswana culture including folklore poetry by Serurubele and Skit Kabomo as well as folklore music by Radipitse. They also played traditional games such as koi, mhele, diketo while some rode horses and a donkey cart.

They also enjoyed Setswana cuisine such as bogobe jwa mabele, morogo wa Setswana, butternut, chicken, mogodu. They sipped popular local beverages such as ginger famed as gemere and traditional beer while being treated to a beautiful music festival in the evening by local traditional groups from across the country such as Sehenya, former Kakapa singer Tshumu and others.
