Lorato Barwabatsile’s passion in fashion is fast gaining momentum and making a mark in the local industry. The 24-year-old fashion designer’s enthusiasm in fashion started at an early age, immediately after completing her secondary school studies where she made up her mind that she was going to pursue fashion design.

“When I grew up I loved looking at both local and international celebrities’ fashion trends. I was always eager to see what was new in the industry and so I decided that I would one day become a fashion designer and chance the local fashion industry,” she said.

The young Molepolole woman said she could not wait to start her own label and decided to start designing clothes while she was still pursuing her degree at Limkokwing University. At the time, she made her designs at home where she attracted a few customers.
