Kwaito outfit, Amanandos put up an electric performance at Dros on Friday during their band member, Thabang ‘Flazer’ Teseletso’s birthday bash.

By 11pm, DJ Kuchi warmed the stage for the youthful group who put on a sterling performance that left excited revellers begging for more.

When Amanandos took to the stage, they immediately took their fans down the memory lane when they performed some of the dance moves that shot them to fame in their appearance on the 2007 edition of My African Dream.

When the group performed their popular track Lebaibai, the crowd sang along and followed with their new single Dira Jaana, which also had revellers dancing and singing along.

The group wrapped up their performance with the songs Tsotsi Anthem, and their first ever single, Camera photo.

Other acts at the show included Scar, EPIC and Dlala.  Speaking to Showbiz after the energetic performance, the ‘birthday boy’ Teseletso, expressed gratitude towards everyone who attended the bash.

“This is my first birthday celebration ever and I am so grateful, especially over the large turn out of friends and fans,” he said, adding that he had not anticipated that many people would come because of the winter season.

Teseletso also shared that Amanandos would soon drop a single called Fiesta. “It’s been 11 months now since our last single release, and we wanted to cook something good for our fans. The album is ready and will be released later this year,” he said.
