FRANCISTOWN: The refurbishment of Francistown College of Education (FCE) has come to an abrupt stop after the company that was awarded the tender was rendered illegal by the court. FCE principal, Sir-Wonder Masebola says the school is the hardest hit by the hold up. He says everything was going according to plan and the tender was awarded to a Chinese company called Unik Construction.

Unik Construction started working at the college around March last year. "About two months after the company had started they had to be removed from the school because the court said they were here illegally" he said.

Masebola says that it came to light that the company had not won the tender but instead another company called Buildswana was the rightful winner of the tender.
