Taximan kills girlfriend, commits suicide in Mochudi

Mochudi Police are investigating a case in which a 25-year-old man is alleged to have stabbed his girlfriend to death before committing suicide.

Mochudi Police Station, assistant superintendent Washington Wazha Zambezi told Mmegi that they received a call from a passerby who reported an incident in which a young man was hit and killed by a train in Pilane railway early Saturday morning. 

“We received a report around 5am that a pedestrian was hit and killed by a train.  When we reached the scene we discovered that indeed there was a young man that was killed by a train.  When we were still at the scene we also received a call that there was a young woman teacher at the new Linchwe Primary School who was found in a pool of blood.  We rushed to the scene and discovered that she was stabbed with a sharp object suspected to be a knife,” he said.
