The Bantastic Experience in the offing

Naomi hitmaker BanT will release his long anticipated debut album this Friday
New school rapper Ban T is scheduled to drop his debut album The Bantastic Experience on Friday.

The Why So? rapper recently announced the release of his album through social media platforms, as he shared the album’s artwork.

“I have been working on this album for some time now. Thing is I am a perfectionist. I have recorded over 50 songs, but I had to select the best tracks for this album. This is why I call it The Bantastic Experience because it carries my strong influence,” Ban T said.

Describing the album he said it is a hip-hop-oriented album with influence from other musical genres.

“It sounds like a Ban T album because its just my own type of sound on the album,” he said. The nine-track album features Veezo, Yaw Bannerman and Mane Dilla.  On the production there is Obado with F.AT and Bangu being the main producers.

“It will be both on physical

copy and online stores.  We will communicate the proper platforms to find the album. I am set to go on a national tour starting from the north coming downwards and the grand finale of the tour will be in Gaborone.  All the dates will be announced once they are finalised,” he said.

Having released tracks such as Naomi and Why so?, which topped charts locally and made him one of the most booked rappers last year, Ban T hopes that The Bantastic Experience will open doors for him internationally.

“I hope something comes out of it,” as he spoke of international relations and possibilities of being signed to an international record label.

Prior the release of the album there will be a listening session on Wednesday, which is a strictly by invitation event in Gaborone.
