Long-in-coming �spaghetti� irks Francistowners

FRANCISTOWN: The delay in the completion of the much-anticipated and intricately designed Thapama interchange, popularly known as ‘Spaghetti’, is causing unbearable paini here.

However, Francistown  residents will have to wait a little longer and endure the ache before they can fully utilise this eagerly awaited intersection which is still trailing behind schedule.

The project was awarded to China Railways Seventh Group in 2015 and was supposed to have been completed in August 2016. It was postponed to October, failed to beat the deadline hence another postponement, this time to February 2017.
