Protest judgment disappointing

What looked like a case of sour grape has opened a Pandora’s Box as far as adherence to the Botswana Football Association Rules and Regulations is concerned. Mochudi Centre Chiefs’ protest against Township Rollers for exceeding the stipulated quota of players has left the game’s administrators with an egg on their face.

It is a combination of dereliction of duty as well as failure in understanding what the rules and regulations say. I am disappointed with the Botswana Premier League Disciplinary Committee chairperson, Busang Manewe’s judgment.

I am not interested in finding Township Rollers guilty or booting them out of the Mascom Top 8 Cup as per the wishes of Chiefs.
