Why men do not disclose their problems

FRANCISTOWN: Men find it difficult to disclose their problems, instead putting their dignity and pride first.

Research shows that men hardly disclose their problems and would rather die inside than share them. It does differ according to the character of the person as well as the matter at hand. For example man find it difficult to disclose matters concerning their health, but when it comes to issues of how they use woman in relationships then they will not have a problem disclosing that.

According to Log Raditlhokwa, a social work lecturer at the University of Botswana: "Men are generally secretive. They are afraid of disclosing matters if they know people will end up laughing at them. They always want to feel respected," revealed Raditlhokwa.
