Why democracy sucks

Meanwhile, the children they often had on their laps do not. Democracy sucks. By it 'sucks' I mean it in the sense rich and spoilt kids who follow contemporary hip hop use the word the same way they say 'screw'. 

That it is bad, boring, awful, tiring etc.  Democracy sucks because qualification to take part in decision making is on the basis of age and little else. Maturity, viewed from the perspective of age is seen as a qualification for universal suffrage. Just that, you need only be 18 and above and that is it: you can decide the fate of a country or a people no matter how stupid you may be. Your IQ is not important.
