The demand
Sixteen percent salary increment. And now with the mounting pressure to end the strike the union leaders are demanding no implementation of No Work No Pay policy and unconditional reinstatement of the dismissed essential service employees.

Government response
There is no money. And now offering three percent salary increment, attainable in September.
