Every morning they rush to this place; the labour office in central Gaborone. Their faces showing of the frustration they have to endure, waiting and waiting and more waiting has become a characteristic of their lives; they wait and wait. Perhaps their wait might end some day, but for now it unfolds further and further. They wait in a communion at this particular place, dashing up every time a vehicle enters the premises, then returning to sit down as the vehicle brings nothing they had hoped for.

The Attorney General Chambers and the new Ministry of Health Headquarters stand as if in sentinel, proud symbols of the country's flourishing democracy. To the right, one sees a part of Parliament, Ministry of Labour and Home Affairs and Megaleng buildings further south. It is a chain of prosperity.
