If you visit the Area 'S' shopping complex you are bound to notice a barefooted, grubbily dressed man who roams around the shops and mostly at the bars that are in the vicinity. His dark skin has become greasy and this immediately tells you that he has not had a bath in a long time.

At times, Joel would be picking up cigarette stumps or asking for a puff from those that come to the bar. Patrons of the shopping complex are now used to the sight of this mad capped man and they fondly call him names like, "Lejowa-jowa" or "Fire Masilela".
