Solomon Batsietswe: It is with the deepest respect and sympathy that I would like to extend my condolences on the loss Sir Ketumile Masire. The Country has lost an exemplary leader whose breadth of vision and commitment has made Botswana what it is today. Those close to Sir Masire would not have doubted his ability and courage to achieve his goal, yet to those of us who have observed from afar, these accomplishments are all the more commendable. Modern Botswana is a testament to the vision of Sir Masire. His foresight and remarkable tenacity is echoed in all of Botswana and he has left a legacy for all to remember.
