SHASHEMOOKE: After a rather lengthy wait at the popular Shashemooke 'bus' stop at Kgaphamadi in Francistown, an open van suddenly materialised. The van was loaded with a stock of assorted soft and alcoholic drinks.

Located to the east of Francistown, and with a population of about six thousand people, Shashemooke, unlike a typical village, is a mixture of several tribal groupings.
