Paedophiles must be punished - Mbulawa

The head of the public relations unit of Botswana Police Service, Assistant Commissioner Christopher Mbulawa, has called on parents to take responsibility for the lives of their children.

Addressing students and parents at a prize giving ceremony at Emmanuel Adventist Academy in Molepolole last Wednesday, Mbulawa said it was a sad reality that some parents had left the responsibility of raising children to teachers, government and television.

He warned that the failure of parents to mould the development of their children may result in some of the children getting involved in crime and other forms of delinquent behaviour.
