Music: an asset in revival churches

Like heavy metal blocks, powerful speakers pound, then blast waves of sound across the mega hall, threatening to sweep away anything unstable.

Empty seats rattle, the floor trembles as the nearby iron structures, serving as an office, vibrates. The waves are hard to ignore even from across the road and several hundred metres all around. This is thanks to the state-of-the-art public address system at the church of God ministries centre  in Gaborone.

"We have music equipment worth over P20, 000 00, and more are coming....we want to make it possible to praise the Lord so that the Holy Spirit can come down to us", boasts pastor Samuel Chauke, an administrator of the church located at the bus rank.
