Moroka's Divine Wisdom Needed In Zim

The media daily feeds people all over the world with stories of untold misery in Zimbabwe. But my recent sojourn to Emtobani, Bulawayo, has helped to change my perception about President Robert Mugabe's beloved country. The news media are awash with horrendous stories of lack of basic necessities like foodstuffs, petrol while roads are full of potholes.
The gloomy picture painted by the media changed immediately my companions and I reached the Plumtree border post. Except that we observed a Police van overloaded with illegal Zimbabwean immigrants. The spectacle has become a daily occurrence especially in Francistown because of its proximity to Zimbabwe. It has ceased making headlines in our Papyruses.
It underscores the indispensable role women play in our society, particularly in building strong households and nurturing families. The recognition of women as the bedrock of our communities is not just a sentiment; it's a call to action for all women to stand together and support each other in their endeavours.The society's aim to instil essential principles and knowledge for national development is crucial.
