Molepolole goes green

Waste is going to be a great money-spinner in Molepolole - at least starting today.

The Bakwena capital is the first village where waste segregation will be implemented and become the norm, as envisaged by Wena Environmental Education and News Trust chiefs. 

In partnership with the US Embassy and Recycle IT Company, the trust is today donating a waste segregation station, a replica of cages that will allow easy management of waste in the area. The launch is seen as the first step in efforts to develop 'green villages' across the country.  These facilities (segregation stations) are durable metal cages that cost about P30,000 each.
