It is also viewed as an ingredient and a catalyst of personal and social development.
Its absence or unavailability does not only affect human beings but also animals and any other living thing.

The 28th of July 2007 will permanently be inscribed in the memories and hearts of the people of Matsiloje village in the North East District. It is a day they will always regard and cherish as a day of 'liberation' regarding water shortage.
