Man Breaks Zezuru Church Vows

FRANCISTOWN: A hideous scar on the left side of his face and hands are a horrific reminder of a fire that nearly ended his life three years ago.

Ishmael Moshoma Maposa, a 47-year-old father of 20 and husband of three, remembers the day he broke the vow of his Zezuru church never to enter a medical hospital, after his body was engulfed in flames at his home.

He said he had bought diesel in drums for sale in Zimbabwe and stored it in the foreground of his home where one of his 12 sons was working on a screen door with a grinder.
