Khama: what the doctor ordered for Botswana

Batswana have spoken. And their message is loud and clear. They want the whole world to know that they are behind President Seretse Khama Ian Khama.

BDP's gains in terms of parliamentary seats pales in comparison to the increase that the party experienced in this year's elections compared to 2004. The party received a staggering 77,814 additional votes!

Although the BDP 's target this year was to garner 70% of the popular vote, Khama could not have hoped for a better approval rating than what he got over the weekend. The nation is firmly behind him in his endeavour to take Botswana to another level.
