Khama welcomes Bryce

As we welcome you in our midst, we are reminded of the recent spate of bushfires in the State of Victoria, which claimed many lives, and reduced many properties to ashes as well as turning a pristine environment into desolation. The people of Botswana were saddened by these great losses and untold suffering on the part of your people.

Once more, I wish on behalf of the government and people of Botswana, to express our heartfelt condolences and sympathies to the people and government of Australia.
