Khama Blows P1.3m

Government spent P1,361,321.44 on President Ian Khama and his entourage on a recent trip to the United States of America to attend the meeting of the board of Conservation International.

Minister for Presidential Affairs and Public Administration (MPAPA), Daniel Kwelagobe, said P342,756.59 was spent on per diem, P898,174 on aviation fuel, P89, 277.25 for landing fees, catering, airport and handling charges and P31 113.60 for air tickets.

"The main objective of Conservation International is to address urgent environmental threats as well as the long term health of earth's most vital land and marine ecosystems," he said.
