And so it was, that I found myself standing that morning - really this past week - in the company of four other men, at the stairs of this utility firm, waiting for the firm to open its doors for us.
We chatted about this and that, in typical male fashion, having made good friends in that short time. Even the short "makwerekwere" - to borrow the parlance from one respected Member of Parliament - felt at ease among these men whose names and backgrounds he did not know.
