FRANCISTOWN: Despite losing the parliamentary elections in October, Francistown’s newly elected mayor, Sylvia Tabitha Muzila, says being at the helm of the city’s leadership has fulfilled her dream of attaining a political leadership position.

Muzila who joined politics six years ago lost the general elections in Francistown South, but was later brought to the council chambers through special nomination.

Muzila recently opened up to Mmegi after being elected the city’s  mayor.

Don't let FMD outbreak drag on

Acting Agriculture Minister, Edwin Dikoloti, is right in saying opening an export-ready facility whilst Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD) is still spreading would risk getting the whole country blacklisted before a single carcass leaves the door.A ban like that would break the already stressed nation.
