I do not miss my father

It came, it was celebrated and it passed but for some of us, Fathers Day meant little. After all, you can not miss what you never had, writes Mmegi Correspondent OAGENG BATENEGI

As we all know, it takes two to have a child. But again not all of us have ever had somebody to address as 'father'.
There are so many stories that are given to children who want answers about their fathers, at least from what we normally hear. It depends on your age. When you are still young, it is normally easy to handle as your parents can give you cheap answers, such as that your father has gone away and he will be back in due course.

But things get complicated when you grow up. You need solid answers. Stories tend to become frustrating. One of my cousins hit 18 and tired of stories, hunted down his father until he found him.
