How long shall they kill our prophets?

The shocking accident that killed Susan Tsvangirai and almost took husband Prime Minister, Morgan's own life, has sparked speculation about the possible cause of her death, some of it bordering on affirmation of 'black magic' or 'juju'. Perhaps, it is speculated, 'juju' has coupled with the pervasive habit of the African leaders, once in power, to ensure their continued stay even if it means 'accidenting'. KEINEETSE KEINEETSE asks why many Zimbabweans are dying?

The first real accident that happened to Morgan Tsvangirai and family was his mistaken belief that he could tame the old crocodile that has been eating the children of Zimbabwe from the days of Chimurenga. How many more should die to keep this man in power?

Is there a regional or continental body that prides itself in representing the interests of the African people anywhere in this sprawling continent? We all know duplicity of African leaders, from the ancient slave selling kings to modern day despots mistakenly called heads of states, whose only concern is how fast they can make a dollar as they milk from their hard put subjects who live under less than a dollar budget a day.Bob Marley must be turning in his grave just now, that most revolutionary legend of song. In 1981 as the reigning king of reggae he was a guest of the state at Zimbabwean independence, where he was brought in to fuel the fire and passion of liberation with his radical lyrics.  Marley sang his heart out at the hour of midnight, welcoming the latest baby of African nations.
