For the sake of the country and for the people

There would be crying and gnashing of teeth, dead bodies would be lying helter-skelter.

There would be devastating hunger and starvation and from nearby you could hear the ever- rattling sound of machines guns.  Brother would sell brother for a piece of bread, women and children would be trafficked to far away places where they would be in perpetual servitude and yoke of prostitution and hard labour.

Anarchy and warlordism would be the order of the day. This is not an apocalyptic verse from the book of Revelations; it is a reality in Somalia and some greater parts of Africa. This is how savage politics can be.
