Family picks up the pieces

TONOTA: A Tonota family is picking up the pieces after having a series of bad luck strokes. Soon after the Pelontle's lost their home due to the rainstorms, one of the children got sick and died before she could get medical help. When the Monitor reported on the story two months the family had no home and were living with a woman who had decided to help them in their time of need.

Agnes Pelontle relates the story of how she is trying to get her family back on their feet, as she is the only strong one. The Pelontle's were left homeless by the rainstorms earlier this year and Agnes was left with her five children, her ailing sister's six children and her sister to take care of with no penny or a plan. Agnes and her sister say that they have no family left and at the moment it is just them and their to children.
