F-town Mmegi sponsors gender debate

Francistown: It is Thursday August 7, 2008. The venue is the Francistown Senior Secondary School multi- purpose hall.

In the hall, the atmosphere is electrifying. The noise is going over the roof. The hall is packed beyond capacity. Some of the students who have failed to secure some seats inside can be seen eavesdropping at the doors to try to grasp what is being discussed inside.

Some are fighting, pushing and shoving by the door way. The objective is to get a glance and partake one way or the other in the proceedings in the hall, which all of a sudden has become too small.
