CIC energy looks east for EPC solution

When he marked the area where the giant Mmamabula Export Energy Project power station would be built with his shoe-heel, little did Minerals, Energy and Water Resources minister, Ponatshego Kedikilwe, realise that a few weeks later he would receive bad news that the project would not take off after all.

The minister and CIC Energy senior executives were then punching the air in jubilation that the construction of the project would finally kick off, pinning their hopes on the possible positive outcome from negotiations with preferred Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC) contractor, which were ongoing.
