Bantsi digs in for battle in Gaborone West South

The Botswana National Front (BNF), parliamentary candidate for Gaborone West South, Moses Bantsi might have started his campaign late but he is certainly no newcomer to the constituency.

Bantsi came in at the last minute to replace former MP, Robert Molefhabangwe who was expelled by the party.

BNF publicity secretary, Moeti Mohwasa said BNF members in the constituency felt it was late to hold primary elections and they suggested that Bantsi should be roped in.  This was due to the fact Bantsi came second to Molefhabangwe during the primary elections.Bantsi has contested without success BNF Gaborone West primaries since 1999.
