The photography workshop exhibition opened at Alliance Francaise on Friday evening and attracted a good turnout as about 70 people thronged the premises.

The event was organised by Botswana Society for the Arts (BSA) in February and March 2012, with financial support from the Department of Arts and Culture, French and German embassies in Botswana. Seventeen students attended a workshop held over three weekends during which they had an opportunity to learn from six different facilitators in a variety of fields relating to photography as well as graphics and post-production.

The hanging of the exhibits was an integral part of the workshop. This time it was literally "hanging", as the images were displayed on long strings fastened with clips.
