MAHALAPYE: Located north of the Dibete cordon fence is Mahalapye West, an offshoot of what used to be the Mahalapye Constituency. The 2002 Delimitation Commission had the vast Mahalapye constituency partitioned into two - Mahalapye West and Mahalapye East.

The new constituencies are divided by the A1 Highway that runs from Ramatlabama  on the border with South Africa in the south of Botswana to Ramokgwebana on the border with Zimbabwe in the north.
