A king betrayed?

In ancient Greece, when a king is stabbed in battle, the closest man would shout: "the King is down, to the king!".

The troop formations would shift to relieve the battalion with the king. From where I stand, it seems the King of Bakgatla has been abandoned and betrayed and does not benefit from this ancient practice. The Brutus remains the mystery but it is beginning to itch. I will put all this into perspective. If not entirely correct, it is fine. I claim not to be Paul the Octopus.

The king is accused of illegally flogging some of his tribesmen. He also faces charges of escaping from lawful custody.  He has not reported for mention on two occasions. This  is contempt of court. Now, reports in the local media are that a warrant of arrest is out for the king. Dipheko Motube confirmed this in an interview with South Africa's Sowetan.
