You made the country proud

The boys have made the nation proud by qualifying for the Africa Cup of Nations for the first time.  The results did not come by chance.  It is not in doubt that a lot was done to make sure that this team qualifies for the biennial event, which will be hosted in Gabon and Equatorial Guinea next year.  We congratulate the Botswana Football Association (BFA) management, the technical team and Batswana who stood with the team for their dedication. 

The players deserve more accolades than anybody else for they were the horses that bore the yoke.  We are proud of you boys.  For all we know, it looked like it was going to take forever for us to reach the Promised Land.
