Employers negotiate collective bargaining agreements with union representatives.Lawsuits are often resolved through negotiation. Diplomats and politicians solve their disagreements through negotiation. Business acquisitions and mergers are often concluded through negotiation.

The list is endless. Imagine what state the world would be in if leaders failed or refused to negotiate. The results would be catastrophic. It is fatal to want to believe that the other party is 'stupid' or 'childish' when we negotiate. Therefore, we wish to state that the government's position that it has suspended all negotiations with unions over the strike is unwise.
