Well done Rollers

It was clear from the moment the whistle for the 2010/2011 Botswana Premier League was blown to signal its commencement that Township Rollers were intent on defending their title.

But it was always going to be a difficult assignment as in recent times.  Teams that have won the league in the previous seasons found it difficult to defend it.  Think back to the times of Police XI, Centre Chiefs and recently Gaborone United.

It turned out to be a jolly ride for the Ga-MmaMasire side as they won almost every game they played every weekend setting the tone for the long hard season ahead. So far The Blues, as Rollers are affectionately called by their hordes of supporters, have only lost two games and drew four games out of the 28 games they have played so.  In fact, Rollers have won the league with two games left.
