Well done BDP, but...

Save for the poor sound quality that marred the performances of top notch acts Caiphus Semenya and wife Letta Mbulu, it was indeed a dinner dance to remember.

In fact two dinner dance nights to remember, because the first dinner dance was held the night before when Stampore Trio entertained business people-cum-friends of the Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) after a long day of fun and golfing in which P500,000 was raised for the BDP by the local business community.

The next day, the local businesses as well as individual entrepreneurs and top managers in the country would pop out a total of P400,000 into the BDP coffers for the dinner dance that included the opportunity to be entertained by Semenya and Mbulu, while a further P547,000 was raised at the dinner as various BDP supporters and top entrepreneurs announced their pledges.
