We are a Republic not a Kingdom

When paramount chief, Kgafela speaks to his Bakgatla tribe of late, he comes out as a megalomaniac dying to rule the country as the King of Kings.

Often he is heard ridiculing our current political system, arguing that the order of things should be changed.  He describes this desired order of things as God first, Kings, and then priests.

Recently Kgafela made news at his own Kgotla where he ridiculed his people branding them as cowards for failing to stand up and fight for him in his quest to have the Constitution of Botswana re-written to allow him to rule with powers that only Kings command.
