UB closure is justified

The hyperactive students should have seen this coming. Unlike previous class boycotts, the latest protest seems to have been poorly planned from the start.
The students were opposed to the new rule that students who repeat their courses will not get living allowances. They were not happy about the mix-up over allowances for on and off-campus students and late payment allowances. Some of the grievances have merit, specifically the mix-up and the late payment of allowances. Obviously these were caused by administrative lapses that could be a sign of poor communication between the UB and the ministry. Or they could be due to administrative bungles from the ministry.
It underscores the indispensable role women play in our society, particularly in building strong households and nurturing families.
