These results are a fraud

The fact is that the results of the 2012 Junior Certificate examinations are a sham.

The question is why the nation - the affected students and their parents, in particular - should accept such a massive cockup? The reality is that because both the Ministry of Education and the Botswana Examinations Council are fundamental actors in the education of Batswana pupils and students, they must necessarily interface and stop presenting themselves as though they were pigeonholed and disparate organisations whenever legitimate questions are asked.

The spurious results of the 2012 Junior Certificate examinations do raise very basic questions regarding the improbable chicanery and fiction that they essentially are. Chicanery because no one in his or her right mind would have proceeded with the exams in the first place because, inspite of the flimflam and subterfuge from MoE and BEC, neither the students nor their teachers were ready for them. Much of this has been meticulously chronicled, but we shall recap, in case somebody is out to lunch.
