For a very long time many Batswana, particularly those in rural areas, have complained about slow service delivery.

Often, infrastructure such as clinics, schools and sewage systems present a huge challenge in many parts of the country. Without these basic amenities, social upliftment and empowerment of communities become a pipe dream.

The dearth of services in many areas, does not only affect development of physical infrastructure. It also affects people's regular chores such as paying of local council levies like water bills, refuge collection, hawkers' licences and many other mundane routines.
